For those who haven’t seen it, Ugly Americans is a prime-time animated series on Comedy Central, based on an alternate reality and set in New York, in which monsters of all stripes must integrate into human society.
I compose many transitions and themes for each of the show’s episodes, but these are some of the longer tracks that are representative of what I do on the show. I tried to create a sonic palate for the show that I felt matched the aesthetic of the art work and the show’s unique perspective.
Following South Park, the series premiere attracted over 2 million viewers. A DVD of the first seven episodes is available on Amazon.com.
